Biggest Stove Change-out in History Launched

The US Government, with Shell Oil, Ted Turner and others pledged 50 million dollars to launch the largest stove change out program in history with the goals of reducing harmful particulate matter and improving the health of women and children. The program will take into account local customs and preferences with a focus on fostering local markets. It could well become a benchmark for future global and domestic aid projects
